Characteristics: The blueberries on Nocturne are as ornamental as they are delicious, part of this blueberry's appeal is the wonderful striking contrast between the unripened mango red berries and its dark inky black clusters of ripe berries, bears fruit in late season, extreme cold hardiness, vigorous, as with all blueberries 'Nocturne' requires acidic soil (4.5-5.5 pH) not recommended for landscape growing unless soil has been heavily amended, recommended for container growing.
