Characteristics: Compact hybrid blueberry considered one of the most cold hardy varieties available, exceptional flavor of wild blueberry, recommended for container growing due to its compact nature, produces prolifically later in the season, like all blueberries 'Northcountry' requires acidic soil (4.5-5.5 pH), not recommended for landscape planting unless the soil has been heavily amended and acidified, requires very little if any pruning, offers a good display of fall color.  Consult with one of our horticulturalists for more information on blueberry cultivation!
