Drought tolerant, and non-fussy about soil types, prefers drier conditions making it great for the New Mexico landscape, pairs fantastically with spring blooming bulbs like daffodils, tulips and crocus, deer resistant, mostly maintenance free but if it starts looking scruffy give a light prune after flowering.
