Compact, round deciduous shrub.  Also known as tatarian dogwood.  Has white edged green leaves.  Has 2.5" flat topped white flower clusters in spring. Flowers turn into blue drupes (fruit with seed inside) in the summer.  The fruit attracts birds.  Foliage may turn shades of purple-red.  Beautiful red branches in winter.
