Characteristics: Very vigorous fast growing vine that is almost indestructible, rich green foliage nearly 8" wide turn brilliant shades of burgundy, orange, and red in fall, small inconspicuous green-white flowers appear in late spring/early summer which yield blue-black berries, fruit is very attractive to wildlife, the tendrils end in adhesive like tips making it perfect to climb up walls, do not allow to grow on stucco or other trees, requires pruning yearly to keep it in bounds, deer resistant, drought tolerant, this plant is where "Ivy League" got its name
