Characteristics: Extremely vigorous vine with extra-large rich green leaves, leaves change to a wonderfully rich burgundy in fall, small inconspicuous green-white flowers appear in late spring/early summer which yield icy blue berries, fruit is very attractive to wildlife, the tendrils end in adhesive like tips making it perfect to climb up walls, do not allow to grow on stucco or other trees, requires yearly pruning to keep it in bounds, deer resistant, drought tolerant, this plant is where "Ivy League" got its name
