Characteristics: One of the harder cultivars to find, deliciously sweet warm golden-yellow berries perfect for preserves, pies or eating fresh, blooms in spring and midsummer, this is a primocane bearing variety which means it has the ability to produce two crops each season, pruning is important with this variety as it will affect whether you have one heavy crop or two smaller crops, to have ONE heavy fall crop simply cut down all of the canes in winter, to have TWO smaller crops treat similar to floricanes varieties and cut down floricanes after harvest leaving primocanes generally the summer crop is smaller than the fall crop, consult with one of our horticulturalists for more information on raspberry culture!
